Movie Prop Redesign
The goal of this project was to redesign famous movie props in a style that was at least 20 years before or ahead of its intended time. The movie selected was the Evil Dead 2013 remake, with the main prop being the Necronomicon and its curse pages. I used swollen, exaggerated type from the psychedelic era in the pages, as well as at color illustrations. The props were then used in a photoshoot and applied to a commemorative book, for which I designed the cover, spreads and end pages.
